Lemon balm is an upright, bushy, perennial. Leaves are light green, arrowhead shaped, somewhat hairy and coarse textured. Lemon balm grows to about 10-24 inches tall and has white flowers.
Grows best in full sun and tolerates a wide range of soils.
Useful in salads, stews, soups, fish, pork and egg dishes. It is also used in making jellies, teas and vinegars and to compliment fruit.
Fresh harvests can be made throughout the season.
They are hardy in USDA zones 3 through 10
